On Sunday, September 12, members of United Poultry Concerns and the Alliance to End Chickens as Kaporos ( www.EndChickensAsKaporos.com) gathered in Crown Heights in Brooklyn to protest the cruel use
of chickens in Kaporos rituals and to urge that money be used instead. Rally filmmaker Donny Moss called it an “amazing demo that
definitely got through to some people today.”
Here is some of the great coverage our rally received:

“Anti Kapores Demonstrators near 770” [meaning near 792 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn].
“Chicken killings derided” by Gary Buiso, Courier Life, September 14, 2010:
: Alliance member David Rosenfeld will be at the Crown Heights rally location at 792 Eastern Parkway, between Kingston & Albany Avenues
across from the Children’s Museum from about 10pm tomorrow night, Thursday September 16, until around midnight, in silent protest against
the suffering and death of the chickens at that location. Chickens are expected to be swung and slaughtered through the night. If you can join
him in peaceful protest where this is happening, it would be appreciated.
